Mark Ritson reports
Goalkeeper Nick Pope and striker Tosan Popo extended their loan periods at Welling United and Chelmsford City, respectively, on Wednesday morning.
Pope has agreed a deal to play for the Park View Road club until February 11th, although he was left frustrated on Tuesday night when the Wings' match against Havant & Waterlooville was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The stopper has already featured on loan for Ryman Premier outfit Harrow Borough in the current campaign, but he made the step up to Jamie Day's side in the Blue Square Bet South just before Christmas.
He was recalled by the Addicks to be part of Chris Powell's FA Cup squad at Fulham after number one Ben Hamer faced a one-match suspension, and was an unused substitute at Craven Cottage as John Sullivan started between the sticks in the 4-0 defeat.
Popo is set to stay at Chelmsford until February 18th, and has impressed in City's promotion march alongside Welling towards the top of league.
The 20-year-old started last Saturday's 2-0 win over Truro City, while he struck a post and made a big impression a week earlier in a 3-2 home defeat to Sutton United.
Popo will be hoping to grab his first goal for City when they welcome lowly Staines Town to the Melbourne Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
